Novostroyka, recently renamed as Peresvet, is a place where almost all Russian rocket engines and stages were test fired, and environmental testing of spacecraft was held. Now Rosaviakosmos and the Government of Moscow Region plan to convert some of now unused test buildings at NII Khimmash to establish a state-owned museum of rocket and space technology.
